Message From Director
Greetings,
It is with great joy that I invite you, parents, students, and
families to share in the excitement of our upcoming move
to our new, permanent home at 9850 S.W. 24 Street, right off of
Coral Way. After more than twenty years of remarkable quality
in the education of our young children, the Montessori
School of Kendall renews its ongoing commitment to excellence in
the field of early childhood education at a brand new home and
in a brand new building dedicated to the establishment of the
ideal Montessori-learning environment.
We, at the Montessori School of Kendall, are faithful to the
strictest guidelines of Montessori education and the Sunshine
State Curriculum. Our program begins with a toddler class, which
introduces the young child to the basic concepts and the
Montessori method, and is followed by the integrated Pre-Kinder,
Kindergarten, and First Grade level class. At this higher level,
the child is immersed in the Montessori method and begins a
journey of joyful learning, putting their natural curiosity of
the world around them to work in developing a strong educational
foundation that will last them a lifetime. Our directresses
(teachers) are Montessori-certified and have a
cumulative 50 plus years of experience teaching in the
Montessori system. Our extracurricular activities include
Ballet/
Tap, Gymnastics, Soccer, T-Ball/Baseball, Music lessons, and
Girl Scouts.
Our Summer Camps are designed to acknowledge and supplement our
regular School year with Montessori exercises,
coupled with assorted team sports, arts and crafts, water
activities, drama and theater, and much more.
As we move forward and on to our new home, we cherish the
rewards of having created "little achievers". I welcome you, the
parent, to be as involved as possible and join us in this
process. I hope to meet with you at our future open houses
and special events, and before, after, and during school days.
I have always viewed our relationship as a partnership and a
key component towards reaching our goal: the maximization of
your child's educational experience.
In closing, I once again bid you a cordial welcome to our humble
circle of teachers and staff. I appreciate and support your
wishes to match the most suitable environment to the needs of
your child, and am thankful for your consideration of our School
as such. My doors are always open to you. Please feel free to
make yourself at home.
Sincerely yours,
Milton R. Pizarro
